Day 154

Mexico: Day 2

My roommate Jerrod.  He also has rad Aladdin sheets.

First of many Hispanic Museums.  Interesting collection of modern and antique collectables.

Came across a news station interviewing people about their opinions regarding the upcoming Mexican presidential election.  Note the head of the school in the background giving me a classic "What the hell is this white boy doing?!" look.

Day 153

Mexico: Day 1

Fairly smooth 2 hr flight to Mexico City followed by a 2 hr bus ride to Cuernavaca

The groceries stores aren't nearly as wacky as in the Philippines, however they did give complimentary shot classes with a gallon of milk.

Learned an uncanny amount of Spanish in my first day.  The host family is extremely welcoming and lives in a nice neighborhood.  The first night was the daughter's 20th Birthday and there was a party with singing lots of karaoke I had no idea in what I was singing.

When I went to bed, I pulled back the covers to reveal this.  Best place on Earth.
